Huge portions makes think I'm Eygtian ........The food is the very best of all Middle Eastern food. The food here is worth it weight in Eyptain Gold toms! What solid gold enhances outside the body, the food doesn't to ones soul! I keeped forgetting that the seasoning, love, and devotion in preaparing the best royal dishes means to me. Excellent, Excellent job....very very comforting food. My favorite dishes are griled veggies, garlic sauce (very galicy, infused with fresh lemon juice. Ahhhh, my taste buds are watering thinking about the fresh garlic) Have I made this clear, I love this resturant......
All of my love, thankyou for sharing these authentic Egyptian dishes...May you do well in life. Blessed are the hands that preparith thou food. Y'all, put the love back in food in a healthy delicious way. -

I am glad I didn't read the reviews or I would not have ordered it. This food is on point Fresh, very flavorful. Great presentation. This was all 1/2 orders of everything so the portions are huge. Absolutely delicious

If I could give this place a negative I would!
Spent $30 on a half tray of chicken with no veggies (when it was suppose to come with veggies)and the other half was all rice. Asked for extra sauce on the chicken and veggies(that I never received) and in return I got no sauce and very dry chicken.
Also asked for sides of ranch, and in one ranch container there was a huge piece of plastic, which looked like the top of the ranch bottle.
And finally...went to go eat a pice of pita and not only was the pita hard as a rock but also looked half eaten, as if it was recycled bread.
Needless to say I would highly suggest not to EVER waste your money on this restaurant! -

I worked here as a waitress in the summer of 2018 for only two weeks. There are never any customers because the management is rude, and the place is filthy. Food is stored incorrectly with raw meats near cooked meats. I've personally watched managers spit on the floor. They were rude to me in front of customers and argued with the customer because they stuck up for me. This place should be shut down!

After living in Michigan for a while, and spending many weekends in Royal Oak, I've passed by La Feast multiple times and always wanted to try it out, and I'm glad I did!
Some friends and I ended up at La Feast after attempting to get dinner at a nearby restaurant that was packed and told us we'd be waiting for over an hour, I've never been more glad to be in a situation like that!
When we entered La Feast, we found the restaurant to be empty, which seemed odd for a restaurant on main street at prime time, but it seems like Royal Oak is really sleeping on this place. A man greeted us and seated us, he was incredibly nice and hospitable while attending to us. As we were seated the restaurant started to fill up, and after looking at the menu I could see why! There's a ton of selection and lots of options if you're looking to be adventurous with your dining experience.
Throughout the night the staff was super courteous and helpful, I mean really one of the most top notch dining experiences I've had in my life. The menu is vast, and the entrees come with a ton of food as well as potentially soup or salad. If you're feeling a need for caffeine, the Arabic coffee is definitely worth a try, one of my friends ordered it and loved it. It's more spiced than regular coffee, but a welcome shift from the standard starbucks fare.
Keto / Low Carb folks: You won't be at a loss for options here! I ordered the Shawarma Combo, and they allowed me to substitute the rice/fries for a salad to go along with the soup. I will say that the Lamb vegetable soup may not be the most keto-friendly, I had to navigate through it to pick out keto-safe foods, but there may be a soup in the mix that's better!
Overall, if you're in Royal Oak, give La Feast a shot. It's a solid value for the price and the food/ service easily make it a great experience for weekend dining.
